  • Know Your Why
    Wednesday, 15 January 2020

I hear the phrase “know your why” in the keto community. My why has always been my mom, for many, many things, but specifically, her health struggles have always driven me to try to be healthier because I never wanted to end up with the same troubles. • Resurrecting The Web
    Tuesday, 30 January 2018

When using the old computers I have, the first thing I discovered is that nothing on the web works in old browsers anymore. The old browsers can’t do modern SSL, PNG graphics, CSS or most HTML. So, in an effort to make the internet usable, I built legacyproxy. I mainly targeted Netscape 1.1N and it has some triggers for its specific User-Agent. To get started, you just configure the browser’s HTTP Proxy to point to a running instance of the legacyproxy. [ Read More… ]

  • Resurrecting Old Macintoshes
    Thursday, 25 January 2018

I have a few old computers in my basement. They are mostly old Macintosh computers, starting with my first ever computer, a Macintosh LC. I started evaluating which ones I should keep by making sure they still work.

  • Reading
    Monday, 27 November 2017

I have been listening to audio books while exercising and commuting. When describing the act of listening to an audio book, I use the verb to read. I moved all my summaries and history of books I’ve been reading to goodreads to make them more public, easier to maintain and keep them from taking over my blog.
