Using laws to prevent access to guns to, in turn, prevent gun violence is foolish. It is foolish in many ways, for instance there are already laws in place that say you can’t kill people and if someone isn’t going to obey that law, why would they obey another one?

Since the events in Ferguson, MO, I’ve been tuned into many occurrences where the police have threatened or shot innocent people in our country. In fact, you are six time more likely to be killed by a police officer than a terrorist in the US.

The media needs to stop covering school shootings (and mall shootings like the recent one in Omaha) where someone goes and shoots a bunch of people and then commits suicide. If there was no chance to become famous by doing such a crazy thing, maybe it’d make it less glamorous.
